Analysis of the content of some scientific theses used in teaching mathematics at the university level in light of twenty-first century skills

Abstract:
The aim of the current research is to: analyze the content of some scientific dissertations used in teaching mathematics at the university level in light of twenty-first century skills, through the content analysis form for twenty-first century skills, and to reveal the obstacles that prevent the inclusion of mathematics content in the university stage for first century skills. The current research relied on the descriptive analytical approach, using the content analysis tool for twenty-first century skills after it was reviewed by the arbitrators and put into its final form, the research sample consisted of (10) scientific dissertations and scientific research to determine the extent to which they include twenty-first century skills. The results reached: Weak possession of student teachers in the Colleges of Education, Mathematics Division, of twenty-first century skills, which are: learning and creativity skills - digital culture skills - life skills. And the profession, and the lack of studies that addressed the development of mathematics teachers’ performance and their professional development during service.
